Conscious that the safeguard of the environment we live in is not only a legal but also a moral obligation, we have dedicated many resources to reduce as much as possible our environmental impact and obtain the ISO 14001 certification (a project which we are currently working on). We have recently removed all asbestos from the warehouse roofing and have installed solar panels on the entire covered surface in order to considerably reduce our energetic consumption. This not only benefits to our competitiveness but also to the environmental protection. As of today, more than 30% of our energetic consumption is obtained from these photovoltaic panels, avoiding the emission of 40 tons of CO2 a year.

In 2010, the old oil boiler was replaced with a new condensing boiler to natural gas, which allows us significant cost savings and significant reductions in emissions of particulates.
